Aron Fischer // Facture Goods

We are exceptionally proud to announce our Designer of The Week is Aron Fischer, owner of Facture Goods. He handcrafts beautiful homewares and goods. Raw, rustic and simply gorgeous…

Aron kindly shared his portfolio of work with us here at Deck Studios and we are completely and entirely in love with his handmade spoons and utensils. In this day and age it is so refreshing to find a company devoted to beautifully handcrafted homewares and goods. Aron comes from a long line of wood-workers and makers which echoes through his work – you can feel his natural companionship with the methods and materials simply by looking at the pieces in his collection.

Anyway, we could talk for days about how in love we are with Facture Goods, but we think showing you is a bit easier…

“My name is Aron Fischer, creator of Facture Goods. I am a fourth generation maker, tinkerer, woodworker and designer. After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Drawing, I was given an amazing opportunity to work for the company Anthropologie as a Display Coordinator. While there, I traveled around the country opening stores, helping other creatives problem solve, and even built a Vespa out of wood (no seriously…I did that).”

“I ended up back in Missouri after my husband, John, was accepted to Medical School, where we have been since.  During his time in school, I decided to get my MFA in Sculpture and have been working on Art, Craft and Design ever since.  Being creative daily helps build upon my need to make, but it has also taught me about craftsmanship and small batch design.”
